Does previous education matter?
You don't need a degree to apply. Some programs have their own admission requirements, which the college confirms with you directly. If you already have education or experience, our credential upgrade pathway may suit you.

What the grant covers
Grant support is applied toward eligible training costs at participating institutions. The amount depends on the program, assessed need and available funding. If your application is approved, we'll explain the amount and any conditions before you enroll.
Business advisory services (such as branding or website design) are separate and are not covered by the grant.

Is this a discount on tuition?
No. The Future Entrepreneur Grant is not a discount, promotion or enrolment offer. It is a grant funded by donors and sponsors, awarded to eligible applicants after their application has been individually assessed.
Where does the grant money come from?
Grants are funded by individual donors, local businesses and community sponsors who want to help people build a better future through education and entrepreneurship.
What can the grant be used for?

How much financial assistance can I receive?
The amount depends on the program you choose, your assessed need and the donor funding available at the time. If your application is approved, we'll explain the amount and any conditions before you enroll.
Are business advisory services covered by the grant?
No. The grant is applied toward eligible training at participating institutions. Advisory services listed on our goal pages — such as business planning, branding or website design — are separate and are not grant-funded.
Is everyone approved?
No. Funding is limited and every application is reviewed on its own merits. Decisions are based on eligibility, motivation, need and the donor funding available at the time.
Do I have to pay to apply?
No. There is no fee to submit an application.
Is this a government grant?
No. The Future Entrepreneur Grant is a privately funded program supported by donors and sponsors. It is not a government program.

Review times vary with the number of applications we receive. You'll get a confirmation email right away, and our team will contact you if we need more information or once a decision has been made.
